Where Positive Change Can Happen...

Dragonfly-Mind Workshops:

Weekly therapy can often be difficult to arrange, cost prohibitive due to personal budget restraints and Nhs waiting lists are often very long.

At Dragonfly-Mind workshops we have devised a number of themed workshops in the hope that you may address some of your issues in a safe and supportive psycho-educational group environment.

Current Workshop Themes:

Anger Management
Manage you anger and recognise what makes you angry and what to do before that "Red Mist" appears. Learn how to control the feeling and calm yourself before you loose control.

Anxiety can be debilitating and can impact upon the quality of life. Come and explore the alternatives and see that what you think will happen, often never does.

Low Self Esteem
A very common issue suffered by more people than we will ever know. Come and explore how you feel and learn new ways to change the way you think about yourself, the world around you and the people in it. Let us introduce you to your compassionate mind!

Living with Depression
1 in 4 people in the UK suffer with depression and that is too many. We may be able to help by introducing you to a different way to think about "your world". Together we will look at some indicators and relapse intervention techniques that will hopefully help to keep you well.

Mindfulness for good health and mental wellbeing
This practice has helped many people overcome pain and sadness in their life, mindfulness is now more than a fad, it has become a way of life for the many thousands who practice across the world. During training we encourage you to look after yourself by committing to daily practice.

All issues can be addressed in small, manageable groups. By attending one or more of our workshops we hope that you will gain a better understanding, personal insight into who you are and how you react to life events. We hope to teach you to recognise and understand symptoms as they appear, and before an episode or anger, depression or anxiety is triggered. Prevention is better than cure, we hope you agree!
